Astros' George Springer: Spring debut coming Monday

Springer will make his first game appearance Monday against the Mets in Port St. Lucie, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Analysis:

Springer, who played 148 games in right field last season, will start in center field against the Mets. He's expected to play in center in 2017 as Josh Reddick, a free-agent acquisition during the offseason, will man right field.
