The Texas Rangers are suddenly going after Chicago White Sox left-hander Jose Quintana.

Having already signed Tyson Ross and Andrew Cashner, the Rangers appear to have interest in Quintana, though it's not known if they'll be able to pull off a deal, according to USA TODAY's Bob Nightengale.

Ever since the White Sox dealt Chris Sale to the Boston Red Sox, it's been clear that most anyone is available.

This offseason, Quintana has been linked to the New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Houston Astros. The left-hander is owed $14.35 million over the next two seasons with a pair of club options worth $10.5 million for 2019 and 2020.

Last season, Quintana authored a 3.20 ERA and reached the 200-inning plateau for the fourth consecutive season.
