Like father, like son.

Notre Dame receiver Torii Hunter Jr. will forego his final year of eligibility with the Fighting Irish in favor of playing baseball in the Los Angeles Angels organization, he announced Thursday on Twitter.

Hunter could have pursued a fifth year at Notre Dame, but will now join the team his father, Torii Sr., played five seasons with. Hunter Jr. was selected by the Angels in the 23rd round of this year's entry draft.

The senior missed four games this season because of a concussion and knee injuries. Hunter finishes his career at Notre Dame with five touchdowns and 73 catches in three seasons.
