Mets' Matt Harvey: Begins throwing
Harvey (shoulder) has been throwing and is no longer feeling tingling in his fingers, Newsday's Marc Carig reports.
Analysis:
The expectation is that Harvey, who underwent thoracic outlet syndrome surgery in July, will be ready for spring training. This latest news is good to hear, but Harvey obviously still carries plenty of risk, considering the shoulder procedure, the Tommy John surgery on his resume and his general ineffectiveness in 2016 (4.86 ERA).
