The Minnesota Twins have repeatedly said they'd have to be "really inspired" to deal All-Star second baseman Brian Dozier.
Well, the Los Angeles Dodgers have drawn the Twins' ear.
Los Angeles is said to be the most aggressive team in trade talks for Dozier, and they've piqued Minnesota's interest, according to USA TODAY's Bob Nightengale.
Of course, the Dodgers are in dire need of a second baseman after losing veteran Chase Utley to free agency.
Dozier has always been an above-average second baseman, but he turned it on last season, belting 42 home runs and driving in 99 runs while owning a .268/.340/.546 slash line.
Not only that, but he's as durable as they come, playing in 155 games in 2016, 157 games in 2015, and 156 in 2014.
