The Baltimore Orioles claimed 25-year-old outfielder Adam Walker on waivers from the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday.
Walker, a third-round pick of the Minnesota Twins in 2012, has yet to appear in the majors, but has posted impressive power numbers playing in the Twins' minor-league system, hitting 110 home runs and 384 RBIs since 2013, including a .251/.310/.486 slash line.
Walker was claimed by the Brewers on Nov. 18, but was later designated for assignment when the team claimed Steve Geltz off waivers from the Tampa Bay Rays.
