Athletics' Yonder Alonso: Inks new deal with Oakland

Alonso agreed to a one-year, $4 million contract with the A's, avoiding arbitration, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Alonso was considered a potential non-tender candidate, so this deal allows him to stay on for a second season with the A's.
