Illinois' marching band had 108 years to prepare for this moment.
On the heels of the Chicago Cubs ending their drought and capturing a historic World Series title earlier this week, the Fighting Illini band honored them by forming the team's logo at halftime.
Here's even more proof that the Cubs really did win the World Series.

The Illini themselves also had reason to celebrate Saturday, knocking off Michigan State 31-27.
