At least his recovery was impressive.
One Cubs fan got shutout during the seventh inning of Chicago's Game 5 win when he went for a high-five after an Aroldis Chapman strikeout and was left hanging on live TV.
Credit to his choice of hat, though, as the fan channeled his inner-umpire and transitioned the missed celebration attempt into a seamless strikeout gesture.
Well played, sir.
