It's the worst-kept secret in baseball: Javier Baez and his all-world tagging talents.

Baez put his quick-to-react glove to work again Sunday for a pivotal play during the sixth inning of Game 5 of the World Series, when the Cubs second baseman perfectly caught David Ross' throw down to second and applied a fast tag to nail would-be stealer Francisco Lindor.

The inning-ending play helped kill an Indians rally that began when Rajai Davis stole second easily off pickoff-challenged pitcher Jon Lester. Davis then scored on Lindor's single before Baez and Ross teamed up for the out.

While Ross' throw was impressive - he released the ball in 0.66 seconds and fired it to second at 79.4 mph, according to MLB.com's Daren Willman - it was Baez and his well-documented tagging abilities that helped nab the speedy Lindor. Baez, who credits his elite tags to writing and eating left-handed, was once again the talk of Twitter after the play.
