MLB lists 'game-used' Britton wild-card jersey for auction
There's a big difference between "game-worn" and "game-used."
Although the Baltimore Orioles made it to the one-and-done wild-card game against the Toronto Blue Jays, nothing that belongs to closer Zach Britton was "game-used."
Not only that, but the circumstances surrounding the situation make it that much more awkward.
So when MLB decides to auction off a Britton "game-used" wild-card jersey, someone has some explaining to do.

Orioles manager Buck Showalter infamously failed to use Britton in the 11-inning marathon game against the Blue Jays, opting to go with Ubaldo Jimenez before him.
Britton was arguably the best closer in the majors, while Jimenez ended up surrendering a walk-off, three-run home run to Edwin Encarnacion.
