Blue Jays' Francisco Liriano: Going through concussion protocol

Liriano (head) is going through Major League Baseball's concussion protocol Saturday, MLB.com's Gregor Chisholm reports.

Analysis:

This comes as no surprise, as Liriano was struck in the head/neck by a comebacker in Friday's game. He was released from the hospital and has rejoined the team, but he will now need to be symptom-free for 24 hours before he is allowed to return to game action.
