Nationals' Ryan Zimmerman: Day off Wednesday

Zimmerman is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks, according to CSN's Chase Hughes.

Analysis:

Zimmerman recorded two hits in three of his last six games, but the veteran will get a day to rest with the Nationals playing only for playoff positioning at this point. Clint Robinson will get the start at first base Wednesday in Zimmerman's place.
