Diamondbacks' Jake Lamb: Batting second Monday
Lamb is batting second Monday against the Nationals, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.
Analysis:
Lamb typically resides in the middle of the order, but in an effort to get his bat going again, manager Chip Hale bumped the 25-year-old up to the two-hole for the first time since early June. It may be tougher to drive in runs from this spot, but he's in better position to score some runs Monday night.
