PITTSBURGH - Washington Nationals right fielder Bryce Harper left Sunday's game against Pittsburgh shortly after sliding into third base.
The reigning MVP led off the third with a triple for the NL East champions. He appeared to jar himself sliding around Pirates third baseman Jung Ho Kang and was checked by a trainer.
Harper stayed in the game at that point and scored on Anthony Rendon's double. Harper was replaced by Chris Heisey in right field for the bottom of the third.
