David Ross has only spent two seasons with the Chicago Cubs, but he's certainly loved by the team and its fans.
Prior to Friday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals - kicking off the final home series of the regular season - the organization honored the 15-year veteran, who plans to retire following the 2016 campaign.
Ross was presented with a framed Cubs jersey and was joined by his family on the field.
In two seasons with the Cubs, Ross is batting .203/.304/.344 with 10 home runs in 137 games.
