Brewers' Keon Broxton: Cranks eighth homer Tuesday

Broxton hit his eighth homer of the season Tuesday in addition to striking out twice in a 6-4 loss at the hands of the Reds.

Analysis:

Broxton has been one of the few bright spots for Milwaukee over the second half of the season, displaying an impressive power/speed combination since being recalled in late July. Since July 26, Broxton has raised his batting average from .125 to .244, hitting .343 in the month of September. Seven of his eight homers and 15 of his 22 steals have come over that timeframe, as well.
