Brewers' Chase Anderson: Picks up win Sunday with five scoreless frames

Anderson (8-11) tossed five scoreless innings in Sunday's win over the Pirates, scattering five hits and striking out two.

Analysis:

He got yanked for a pinch hitter after only 65 pitches with the Brewers leading 1-0, but the move paid immediate dividends, as Jonathan Villar launched a grand slam in Anderson's place to put the game away. The right-hander hasn't lasted more than six innings in a start since early June, greatly limiting his win potential, and he's unlikely to break that trend in his next outing Saturday in St. Louis.
