Syndergaard wants to ban the wave
Patrick Smith / USA TODAY Sports
To all baseball fans considering starting the wave at their local stadium: Noah Syndergaard will look for you, he will find you, and he will ... well, it won't be pretty.
The New York Mets starter - affectionately nicknamed Thor - took to Twitter on Tuesday to thank fans at Citi Field for their support in the team's 7-4 win over the Marlins while pleading with those in Queens to abstain from the wave.
Very happy we won....but I want the name and address of the person who started the "Wave" tonight. #banthewave #resisttheurge

Pick up the phone and call commissioner Manfred, Noah.
