Analysis:

With Jose Iglesias' return from the DL on Saturday, the Tigers cleared a spot by designating Presley for assignment. The 31-year-old outfielder hadn't appeared in any of the Tigers' last five games and was hitting a mere .198 at the big league level on the season. He'll now be subjected to waivers but he could remain in the Tigers' organization if he goes unclaimed.
