Tigers' Erick Aybar: May continue to get starts at short after Jose Iglesias returns
Aybar may continue to get starts at shortstop after Jose Iglesias (hamstring) returns from injury, the Detroit Free Press reports.
Analysis:
Aybar is hitting .233 in eight games with the Tigers after hitting .242 in 97 games with the Braves. He may also get starts at third, but 1,235 of his 1,293 games played in the majors have come at short. Manager Brad Ausmus told reporters Thursday that Iglesias' hamstring was still bothering him, so he may not be activated from the disabled list right away. Keep Aybar going while you can.
