Mariners' Kyle Seager: X-rays negative

Seager is out of Wednesday's lineup against the Yankees, but fortunately X-rays on his right foot came back negative, Matt Pentz of the Seattle Times reports.

Analysis:

Seager fouled a ball off his foot in Tuesday's contest, but it sounds as though he avoided any serious damage. Shawn O'Malley will fill in at the hot corner Wednesday, but Seager could be ready to rejoin the lineup in time for Thursday's tilt against the White Sox.
