Nationals' Bryce Harper: Late addition to Sunday lineup
Updating a previous report, Harper (neck) will be added to the lineup for Sunday's matchup against the Braves, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports.
Analysis:
Washington's original lineup featured Brian Goodwin in right field, but the entire order will be reshuffled following the addition of Harper into the three-spot. Harper underwent an MRI Saturday, and the results came back clean, but it was initially suspected that the Nats would continue to take a conservative approach. His health must have taken a turn for the better, as Harper's pregame routine must have been sufficient to convince team trainers that he was capable of starting. His progress will certainly be monitored closely, and any indication of discomfort could result in his removal, but until further notice, look for Harper to return to his regular role.
