Talk about coming back empty-handed, amiright?
In the first inning Wednesday at Coors Field, with his team already trailing 3-0 to the Colorado Rockies, Los Angeles Dodgers center fielder Joc Pederson tried valiantly to haul in Mark Reynolds' deep blast, but ended up losing his mitt as he attempted to rob the 33-year-old of a home run.
Look, it was an impressive effort, but Pederson - now in his second full season in the bigs - should know there ain't a soul on earth that can stop the homers from flying out of Coors Field.
