Padres' Edwin Jackson: Rough start Friday
Jackson allowed six runs on 10 hits and two walks over five innings Friday night to get the loss against the Reds.
Analysis:
Jackson has had trouble missing bats in all three Padres starts. His three strikeouts Friday gave him eight in 17.1 innings in his three starts. When that many balls are in play, he's subject to the whims of positioning and the amount of hard contact allowed. The good news is that he's allowed just one homer in those three starts.
