Dodgers' Yasiel Puig: Remains out Wednesday
Puig (hamstring) is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Rays, the Southern California News Group's J.P. Hoornstra reports.
Analysis:
He has made a pinch-hit appearance since suffering the hamstring injury last Thursday and was considered available off the bench Tuesday, but he is still not ready to play the field. It's safe to assume he is available off the bench again Wednesday. With the Dodgers getting an off day Thursday, it's possible Puig will have enough time to get right for this weekend's series against the Diamondbacks. Scott Van Slyke will get the start in right field and hit cleanup Wednesday against southpaw Matt Moore.
