Dodgers' Grant Dayton: Called up for bullpen depth
Dayton was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday, Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reports.
Analysis:
The Dodgers need help in middle relief in any way possible, and Dayton certainly seems like an option that might be worth their while. The lefty has pitched at two levels in the minors this year, limiting batters to a .165 average and posting a 2.44 ERA. The 28-year-old also boasts an excellent 85:10 K:BB over 48 total innings. If he can post a similar K-rate in the majors he could be worth an add in very deep formats.
