Reds' Brandon Finnegan: Picks up fifth win over Braves
Finnegan (5-7) allowed two runs on seven hits and a walk with five strikeouts over five innings in a win Monday against Atlanta.
Analysis:
Finnegan did allow another home run, raising his total to nine over his past five starts. Even on the rare occasion that his control is on point -- he owned a 4.7 BB/9 entering Monday night -- his inability to keep the ball in the yard renders him inconsistent. The young lefty has just one quality start in his last five outings.
