Indians scoreboard asks Napoli for mercy

After Mike Napoli nearly put a dent in the scoreboard at Progressive Field on Friday with a 460-foot blast, the Cleveland Indians slugger was asked to take it easy Saturday.

The scoreboard displayed a message asking for mercy from the first baseman, whose 18 home runs on the season puts him second in the club behind only Carlos Santana.

Napoli has become quite the sensation in Cleveland as of late, largely due to the "Party at Napoli's" shirts that surfaced - and sold out - thanks to Indians super fan Nate Crowe, as well as some other generous efforts.

The 34-year-old signed a one-year deal worth $7 million in the offseason and has produced well above his salary, leading the team in RBIs (60).
