Jose Reyes has settled into the leadoff spot since rejoining the New York Mets, but manager Terry Collins might want to consider moving the 33-year-old into the middle of the order.
Reyes, who made his 2016 debut earlier this week following a 52-game suspension for an October domestic violence incident, showed off some serious pop Thursday at Citi Field, smashing a solo shot off Lucas Giolito into the upper deck for his first homer of the campaign (and his first in a Mets uniform since Sept. 27, 2011).
"I'm telling you, he's going to bring something to the table here," Collins told ESPN's Adam Rubin after Reyes went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles the day previous.
