Twins' Miguel Sano: Likely to need three or four more rehab games

Manager Paul Molitor said Sunday that Sano (hamstring) will likely require three or four more rehab games at Triple-A Rochester before he's activated from the 15-day DL, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Analysis:

While Sano's left hamstring is back to full strength, the slugger is still trying to get his swing back after a month-long layoff. He's already appeared in two games with Rochester, going 0-for-4, but needs some more time to improve his timing and pitch recognition. Sano will serve as the DH for Rochester on Sunday and is scheduled to play third base Monday and right field Tuesday before the Twins reevaluate his status.
