Marlins Park had a real Coors Field vibe to it Monday night.
With the ball flying out of the stadium at a mind-boggling rate, the Marlins and Rockies made history in a series-opening slugfest in which all eight runs of Colorado's 5-3 victory came via solo home runs - setting a new MLB record for homers in a game in which every run came off a solo shot.
Mark Reynolds and Marcell Ozuna contributed two solo shots apiece, while Giancarlo Stanton, Trevor Story, Nick Hundley, and Charlie Blackmon each went yard once, setting a new Marlins Park record for homers in a game.
