Diamondbacks' Shelby Miller: Gets the win in return from the DL
Miller (2-6) was solid in his return from the disabled list Monday against the Phillies, going 6.2 innings and giving up just one run on five hits in a 3-1 victory. He struck out five and walked one.
Analysis:
In the process, the righty earned his first win since May 7. It's mostly been a struggle for Miller in his first season with the Diamondbacks, but maybe this start will get the 25-year-old righty going. His next scheduled start could be tough, however, as he's set to face the Rockies in Coors Field on Saturday.
