Blue Jays' Jose Bautista: To DL with toe injury
Bautista (toe) was placed on the 15-day DL on Friday, Sportsnet's Barry Davis reports.
Analysis:
The toe injury that forced him from Thursday's game was apparently serious enough for him to miss the rest of June and at least a couple days in July. Darrell Ceciliani was recalled from Triple-A as a corresponding move, but Ezequiel Carrera figures to take over as the everyday right fielder while Bautista is out.
