Giants' Denard Span: Jams hand Tuesday, stays in game
Span jammed his hand sliding into a base, but remained in Tuesday's game, the San Francisco Chronicle's Henry Schulman reports.
Analysis:
It happened in the bottom of the eighth inning, so the fact that Span stayed in the game may not necessarily mean he is out of the woods. Span was 2-for-4 with a strikeout at the time of play in question. Make sure to double check his status prior to Wednesday's game.
