When you're the MVP, you don't have to field grounders cleanly to make plays.

Josh Donaldson, the Toronto Blue Jays' beloved third baseman, made that clear as rain Wednesday at Rogers Centre, making an exceptional recovery after booting a ground ball off the bat of Alex Rodriguez and retiring the 40-year-old with an acrobatic throw to first.

Sure looks like that pregame round of "bump" kept the two-time All-Star loose, eh?
