Brewers' Ryan Braun: Dealing with stiff neck
Updating a previous report, Braun is out of Sunday's lineup due to a stiff neck, MLB.com's Adam McCalvy reports.
Analysis:
After being held out of the lineup for the second straight day, it became apparent that Braun may be dealing with some sort of ailment once again. That notion was eventually confirmed, as reports surfaced of a stiff neck that began bothering the left fielder following Saturday's game. The Brewers will continue to take a conservative approach with one of their more valuable trade chips, so look for Braun to be day-to-day heading into Monday's series opener against the Cardinals.
