Yankees' Starlin Castro: Injures oblique Sunday
Castro was lifted early from Sunday's loss to the Red Sox with a tight left oblique, the New York Post reports.
Analysis:
He suffered the injury on the basepaths in the seventh inning, but Castro pleaded his case to remain in the contest so it may not be overly serious. Manager Joe Girardi indicated there was a chance the second baseman could return to the lineup Monday, but consider Castro day-to-day for the time being.
