Storen throws heater through Martin's glove
MLB.com
The second pitch of Drew Storen's ninth-inning at-bat Friday against Yasmani Grandal was allegedly thrown at 91 miles per hour.
Russell Martin's glove begs to differ.
Storen's showdown with Grandal proved to be a costly one after his 2-0 fastball broke Martin's glove, and the at-bat ended with a four-pitch walk. After a brief Dodgers rally, Storen and Martin held on - literally this time - for the 5-2 victory.
