Randy Johnson is getting a street named after him.
The Hall of Famer is being honored by the Arizona Diamondbacks, as the club announced the street in front of Chase Field will be renamed "Randy Johnson Way." An official ceremony will take place on May 12, prior to Arizona's next home game.
Over his 22-year career, Johnson cemented himself as one of the greatest pitchers ever. He owns a career 3.29 ERA, with 4,875 strikeouts, and averaged 10.6 punch outs per nine innings.
Johnson spent eight seasons with the Diamondbacks, claiming four consecutive Cy Young Awards from 1999 to 2002, while winning a World Series in 2001.
