Watch: Colon tries to beat Hamilton to 1st on weak grounder

Finally, the showdown we've all been waiting for.
Cincinnati Reds outfielder Billy Hamilton is the fastest man in the majors. New York Mets right-hander Bartolo Colon isn't.
Those forces were pitted against each other Tuesday thanks to a weak grounder to first base. Colon did everything he could to hustle over, but Hamilton beat the veteran, who sprinted right past the flip and lost his hat in the process.
