Bonds gets standing ovation from fans in San Fran

Barry Bonds is back in town, and the San Francisco faithful are letting him hear it.

The fans at AT&T Park chanted "Barry, Barry!" when Bonds brought out the lineup card prior to Friday's contest with the Miami Marlins and Giants. Baseball's home-run king responded by tapping his heart, lifting his cap, and waving to the fans he once dazzled with the long ball.

Bonds, now Miami's hitting coach, swatted an incredible 586 homers during his 15-year tenure with the Giants. He was a two-time batting champion and five-time MVP while playing in the Bay Area.

"This is my family ... I'll always have love for San Francisco," Bonds said prior to the game.
