Watch: Ellsbury perfectly executes straight steal of home

Jacoby Ellsbury used to be one of the most-feared baserunners in the majors in his prime, and although injuries have limited his base-stealing ability in recent years, he perfectly timed the windup of Tampa Bay Rays southpaw Matt Moore on this theft of home plate Friday night.

It's not the first time the center fielder has attempted the very risky steal. Ellsbury - then playing for the Boston Red Sox - famously stole home on New York Yankees lefty Andy Pettitte back in 2009.

The last Yankee with a straight steal of home was Derek Jeter on May 5, 2001.
