New York Mets manager Terry Collins didn't suffer any injuries after being involved in a car accident Thursday in Atlanta, Ga., as first reported by ESPN's Adam Rubin.

Collins was a passenger in a taxi cab that was involved in a collision during the team's day off, and was not taken to hospital. However, he does have two scrapes on his face from hitting the plexiglass partition in the cab from the impact.

He's managing the club Friday night at Turner Field, and showing no ill-effects from the incident.

The 66-year-old skipper has been managing the Mets since 2011, and guided the club to a World Series berth last season.
