 The Pirates have won a season-high-tying three straight games, taking the last three of the four-game set with the Cubs this week. Pittsburgh also won three straight from August 21-23 against the Brewers.

 The Indians have won five straight and seven of their last eight games. Ten of Cleveland's last 11 games have been decided by three runs or fewer.

 The Indians swept three games from the Pirates August 18-20 in Pittsburgh. Dating back to 2018, the Pirates have scored just four runs and had zero home runs in their last four games against Cleveland.

CLEVELAND (AP)  The Cleveland Indians are staying home for the first round of the postseason - and the New York Yankees are coming to town.
Carlos Santana had four RBIs and delivered a go-ahead, two-run double in the seventh inning as the Indians rallied for an 8-6 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday to gain home-field advantage for their AL wild-card series.
