 The Braves have taken five of seven from the Mets so far this season, including a 2-1 series win at Citi Field in late July. Atlanta is 14-8 (.636) at the Mets since the start of the 2018 season, the only NL East team with a winning road record against the Mets in that time.

 The Braves are 5-5 in their last ten games including losing two of three in Baltimore during the week as they were held to one run in both of their losses. The Braves have scored a total of 31 runs in the seven games following their 29-run outburst against Miami on September 9.

 The Mets enter their final homestand of the year with a 10-13 record at Citi Field. They've managed to win just one multi-game series at home all season, going 2-1 against the Marlins from August 7-9.

NEW YORK (AP)  Eyeing a third consecutive NL East crown, the power-packed Atlanta Braves got their top starter back and made it an awfully easy night for him.
Freddie Freeman added three more hits to his burgeoning MVP campaign, Ozzie Albies clubbed two of Atlanta's six homers and the Braves battered New York Mets pitching Friday in a 15-2 blowout that expanded their division lead.
