The visiting Washington Nationals will turn to left-hander Patrick Corbin in hopes of slowing down the slugging Atlanta Braves bats when the two clubs complete their four-game series on Sunday.
The Nationals (14-24) have won the last two games, but the Braves (23-16) have hit at least three home runs for five straight games, one shy of the record set by the 1987 Baltimore Orioles. Over the last seven games, the Braves have hit 20 home runs, which includes three-homer games from both Marcell Ozuna and Adam Duvall.

Corbin, Nationals charged with slowing hot Braves bats

ATLANTA (AP)  Freddie Freeman hit his second career grand slam - and second of the series - leading the Atlanta Braves to a 10-3 win over Patrick Corbin and the Washington Nationals on Sunday.
Josh Tomlin (2-2) allowed one run in six innings as Atlanta split the four-game series. Marcell Ozuna drove in four runs with three hits, including a homer and a bases-loaded triple. Tyler Flowers had a two-run double.
