 The Yankees swept a two-game set with the Braves on August 11-12 in New York. They have won their last eight games road games against the Braves, though they haven't played in Atlanta since 2015.

 New York is playing for the first time since getting swept in three games by Tampa Bay last week, after its weekend series against the Mets was canceled. The Yankees are 1-6 against the Rays this year, compared to 15-3 against all other teams.

 The Braves are averaging 6.1 runs per game in interleague play since the start of last season, best in the majors. They have a 17-12 interleague record over that span, including an 11-4 mark at home.

 Dansby Swanson is batting .383 (18/47) out of the leadoff position this year, compared to .273 in all other lineup spots (18/66). He has hit safely in eight straight games -- all out of the leadoff spot.

 Luke Voit has a 10-game hit streak, with at least one home run in his last four games. He leads the majors with a .730 slugging percentage while ranking third in OPS (1.115) and tied for fifth with 10 home runs.

 Gerrit Cole is 4-0 with a 2.75 ERA despite allowing at least one homer in all six starts -- the longest single-season streak of his career. Nine of his 11 earned runs allowed have scored via home runs.

Two of the top starting pitchers in baseball will be on display Wednesday when the Atlanta Braves host the New York Yankees in a doubleheader. The stars won't be facing each other in the same game, though.
