The St. Louis Cardinals will try to build on their dramatic comeback victory against the visiting Cincinnati Reds when the teams meet again Friday.
The Cardinals trailed the Reds 4-2 in the ninth inning Thursday night in the opener of a four-game series at Busch Stadium. However, St. Louis rallied for three runs to earn its first home win since July 26.

Cardinals hope to keep momentum against Reds

ST. LOUIS (AP)  Pinch-hitter Matt Davidson delivered a go-ahead grand slam in the sixth inning and the Cincinnati Reds beat the St. Louis Cardinals 4-2 on Friday night.
Davidson drove a 2-0 pitch from Tyler Webb to left field and into the Cincinnati bullpen. It was his third home run of the season, second career slam and first pinch-hit homer.
