 The White Sox started the season 1-4, but have reeled off four wins in a row, including a three-game sweep at Kansas City over the weekend. The Sox have 35 hits in their last two games, most by any team in a 2-game span this season (second most is 26 by Boston in its first two games of the season).

 The Brewers have not played since Wednesday (had a scheduled off day on Thursday and 3-game series vs. StL postponed over the weekend due to Covid-19 positive tests for several Cardinals). The Brewers have 28 hits and four home runs in their three wins this season; just 11 hits and one home run in their three losses.

 Since 2000, the White Sox and Brewers have met in interleague play six different times, and Chicago has won all six series with a 14-4 record overall.

 Luis Robert has 13 hits in his first nine major league games. Robert's 13 hits are the most by a White Sox rookie through the team's first nine games of a season since 1951 (Jim Busby -- 17 hits).

 Keston Hiura went just 1-for-12 with five K's in the Brewers' season-opening series at the Cubs, but rebounded by going 5-for-11 with two HR and five RBI (and only 1 K) against the Pirates in Milwaukee's last series. Hiura's 21 home runs through 90 career games are second most in Brewers history (Ryan Braun -- 27).

 Carlos Rodon will make his second start of the season after getting beat up in Cleveland in his first start (3.2 IP, 5 R). Brett Anderson is set to make his Milwaukee debut. He is 2.2 innings away from 1000 for his career.

MILWAUKEE (AP)  These don't appear to be the same old Chicago White Sox that have stumbled through seven consecutive losing seasons.
Jose Abreu hit a tiebreaking two-out single in the seventh inning, helping Lucas Giolito and the White Sox edge the Milwaukee Brewers 3-2 on Tuesday. The White Sox have won six straight games for the first time since April 2017.
